 Through guided breathwork, sound, movement, and grounding, you’ll allow built-up pressure to move out of your system so your body can return to a more regulated, relaxed state.

FAQ for Rebel Yell Virtual Circle

  • What if I feel nervous or awkward about screaming?
    That’s completely normal. Most people feel a little hesitant at first because we’ve been taught to suppress anger and strong emotions.

    Sometimes - this experience will bring up other emotions and expressions too - and that's okay!

    You will not be thrown straight into screaming. I will guide the group through breathwork, gentle somatic exercises, and vocal warmups first so your body can safely build up to the release.

    You are always welcome to participate at your own pace.

    Even simply breathing, shaking, or making sound instead of a full scream can be incredibly powerful.
  • Do I have to have my camera on?
    No.

    Your camera can be on or off the entire time. This is about your comfort and privacy.

    Many people choose to keep their camera off during the scream portion so they can fully let go without worrying about being seen... and that is absolutely okay!

    I will encourage you to keep your camera on so you can see each other moving through this experince together - but if that is not what feels safe for you - then absolutely don't push yourself. This is not a performance of release - this is an actual release. However that needs to exist for you!
  • Will people hear me screaming?
    Everyone will be muted during the event - so that you can all hear my verbal guidance throughout our time together.

    If you wish - you can scream into a pillow or cushion to soften the sound within your own private space - and my music will be playing while my voice guides you - to help create a container for release.

    This allows everyone to fully participate without feeling self-conscious.

    At the end of the event - those who wish to share their experiences within our group are welcome to turn their videos on (or leave them off), turn on your microphones and share with us all about the experience you just had and what has shifted for you!

    Don't want to be in the spotlight? There will be a chat you can share within throughout the whole event and I encourage you all to connect through the chat!
  • What do I need to bring?
    Please have the following nearby:

    • A pillow or cushion to scream into (if you don't have a space to privately scream without needing to muffle the sound)
    • Comfortable clothing you can move in
    • A private space where you won’t be interrupted - book this time for yourself!
    • Water for after the session - and whatever comfort items (squishies, snacks etc) you will want for your own aftercare following our joint release.

    Optional but helpful: heaps of blankets, and somewhere soft and comfortable to lay - curl up and/or move your body however you need to move.
  • What if emotions come up during the session?
    Good!! That means this is working - and it’s completely okay to express your emotions however you feel they need to come out - as long as you are safe.

    When we release stored tension from the body, emotions like anger, sadness, or even laughter can surface.. yes!! You may find yourself laughing too - that's okay!

    The structure of the session is designed to move energy safely through the body and then bring the nervous system back down into calm through grounding and visualization.

    You are always welcome to pause or step away if you need to.
  • Is this therapy?
    No.

    Rebel Yell Virtual Circle is a guided somatic release experience, not therapy or psychological treatment.

    It is designed to help people safely move built-up emotional energy out of the body through breath, sound, and movement.
  • What if I can’t attend live?
    No problem.

    Everyone who registers will receive the full replay recording after the event.

    This means you can revisit the session anytime you need a release.

    Many people find this type of exercise becomes a powerful personal reset tool they return to again and again.
  • How long is the experience?
    The live session will run approximately 45 minutes.

    This includes:

    • nervous system activation
    • guided scream release
    • embodied movement
    • grounding visualization and calm breath to regulate, ground and integrate. - This is where you can journal, snuggle up with your comfort things and reflect.

    - approx 15min at the end for questions, reflections, and community connection. I will invite anyone who wants to share to do so openly if you want to - if not - you can share in the chat.

    The replay will not include the chat - only the screen which will be pinned to me until the end community sharing section.
